Webmasters, there are five separate DataBases for different categories of UK Antiques Websites. You are welcome to add your Site for absolutely no charge whatsoever.
We aim to be the first port of call for UK-based Antiques Internet resources - we would therefore be very grateful if you would create a link back to us.
There is an "Add URL" section at the bottom of each Category DataBase page. Alternatively you may click on your chosen category/ies below and go straight to the "Add URL" section of the page for that category.
The Auctions & Auctioneers, Fairs & Shows and Shops & Shopping DataBases are all categorised by County (Council area). The Information DataBase is categorised into "families" of Antiques. The Miscellaneous DataBase is categorised into types of resource.
The Description details that you enter will all be "Keywords" and fully-searchable.
If you run a shop that specialises in a particular type of Antique, then we would suggest that you should make an Entry in the "Shops & Shopping" Database under your county and also an Entry in the "Information" Database under the category.
Should you have any queries, problems or suggestions to make, then please

My name is David Quinton and my firm has been operating TheAntiquesDirectory.co.uk for many years.
When we launched the site we used to do very well selling Books about Antiques and Collectables using Amazon - in those days they used to pay 15% commission on directly-linked titles. As I'm sure you've realised, Amazon now pay a base rate of only 4% - even on direct links!
A couple of months ago we made contact with Bookplace - a well-established UK-based company with experience as an on-line bookshop supplying quality titles for specialist markets.
They started an Antiques and Collectables section with over 1,500 specialist Collecting & Antiques Books and they feature all new titles up to 3 months prior to publication date so that copies can be reserved in advance.
They pay a 7.5% commission (i.e. nearly twice what we used to get from Amazon) and they've built our new branded bookshop at:-
Ian Ramsden-Morris, MD of Bookplace, has looked after us so well that I told him that I'd try to help him to sign up some more premier UK Antiques websites - hence this e-mail!
If you wish to find out more, then please contact Ian on his direct e-mail:
